Our goal at Golden Brook Farm is for your dog to have as much fun as possible in a safe and loving environment. Our dogs are walked every day and are outside as much as they want, weather permitting. We believe in exercising, disciplining, (basic obedience), and loving every dog that comes our way!

Facility

We are located 12 miles from Smugglers Notch Resort off of Vt. Rt 109 N in beautiful Waterville, VT. We own a 1850's farmhouse on three acres. There are three outdoor fenced in play yards that are completely secure.

Golden Brook farm has a unique country setting where your dog can be a dog at home in the mountains! Our indoor kennels are individualized and cleaned daily. They are located in the bottom floor of our home with immediate access to our personal living quarters and the outdoor play yards. There is always someone home at Golden Brook Farm! Dogs are never left outside unattended!

Hours of Operation

Drop off and pick up times are by appointment only and are preferred during these hours: 8-11am and 4-6pm Monday through Sunday 365 days a year! If these times are not convenient for you please let the attendant know at the time you make your reservation. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. Dogs picked up after 10am will be charged for daycare.

PLEASE NOTE: It isextremely important that all families call Golden Brook before arriving. This is to ensure us that you are coming, and allows us to give you and your dog(s) our full and immediate attention. We thank you for your cooperation!

Requirements

All dogs that come to Golden Brook Farm LLC are required to have all their proper vaccinations including bordetella and cannine cough vaccinations. This is to ensure the health of all dogs who use our facility. Proof of vaccinations can be faxed to G.B.F or mailed prior to arrival.

Golden Brook Farm does admit intact males, however the cost is $30 a night and $25 a day for day care.

Visitation

If you are vacationing at Smugglers Notch and would like your dog to be a part of your memorable vacation in the Green Mountains, we say OK! Please make your reservation to visit or take your dog for the day with us when admitting your dog at Golden Brook Farm. We understand that activities change daily on vacation, and sometimes your faithful companion doesn't fit into the equation. That's ok, because your dog is on vacation, too! All that we ask is that you call us and let us know about any changes. Thanks!

Deposits & Cancellation

Golden Brook Farm is a small family run business. We need to know as soon as possible if you choose not to board with us.
A deposit may be required.

Special Needs

Golden Brook Farm LLC does care for dogs with special needs.
Please let the care attendant know what those needs are when you make reservations.
