Please remember to treat your dogs with flea & tick prevention. This is especially important for people who live in a wooded areas! If this is your situation, please consider vaccinating for Lyme Disease! We have had a lot of dogs from out of state who have been affected by this pest! Make sure your dogs are treated and tested before they arrive at our facility.

Golden Brook Farm does not have a problem with fleas or ticks, but the area you reside in may or may not be affected. Check with your Vet!

Remember, leaving/boarding your dog will almost always be harder on you than the dog! Dogs live in the moment and will be content with a group of dogs and loving people to attend to them.

If your dog gets car sick, don’t feed them before departure! Don’t worry, they will not starve on the way! And you'll keep your car cleaner for the drive back! :)

If your dog is prone to ear, eye or any other type of infection, bring your medication with you! Golden Brook Farm will administer the medication to them during their visit, if it is needed. It often relieves stress on the owner and dog if there is preventative maintenance.
